US Customs allows US citizens to bring into the US a “reasonable amount” of medications they have acquired for self-use in a foreign country. It is important that you carry the medications with you and not place in checked baggage. The medications should remain in the original containers. You will also be provided with a valid prescription for the medication which may be requested to be seen by the US customs agent. Medications from HCCI do not need to be “declared” based on dollar value.
